Hospitals Overseas only connect healthcare facilities with patients and related facilities and has no control whatsoever in running the treating Institution. Therefore Hospitals Overseas is not liable / responsible for any delay, default, failure, improper services / deficiency in services provided by the treating institution and/or for any injury, sickness, accident, discomfort, emergency, complication or medical requirement death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which may arise due to any act of negligence, deficiency or default in services, of the management or employees of the treating Institution. Hospitals Overseas does not control or operate any treating Institution, neither does it operate or control any facility or service provided by the treating Institution suggested. The treating Institution shall be solely responsible for all treatment to be provided by it to the patient, including but not limited to surgical, medical, wellness, beauty and all related queries, opinions and complications and Hospitals Overseas shall not be responsible for the same.
In case the healthcare provider is not competent in handling a particular emergency or complication arising before, during or post treatment of the patient, it shall be the absolute responsibility of the treating Institution and / or the treating doctor, as the case may be, to refer or call upon the competent medical authority, after taking the consent of the patient or his / her family members / relatives / escorts / friends and Hospitals Overseas shall not be responsible for the same.
It shall be the absolute responsibility of the healthcare provider, as the case may be, at the time of the patient’s admission to apprise him / her or his / her family members / relatives / escorts / friends making the booking on behalf of the patient of the possibility of contingency expenses (howsoever rare) and secure his / her consent or the consent his / her family members / relatives / escorts / friends in writing to pay for or assist the Treating Institution to recover from the insurance company all the contingency expenses and Hospitals Overseas India shall not be responsible for the same.
Healthcare provider shall be solely responsible for any extension / change of treatment dates by it and / or the treating doctor, as the case may be, and Hospitals Overseas shall not be responsible for the same. / relatives / escorts / friends making the booking on behalf of the Participant / Patient) signing the registration form and making payment towards the Package. If the patient (and his / her family members / relatives / escorts / friends making the booking on behalf of the Participant / Patient) has any complaint in respect of the services rendered by the Treating Institution, he / they should forward such complaints directly to the Treating Institution without any recourse to Hospitals Overseas.
